The book
The book has dual purposes:
Mental Health Awareness – it aims to celebrate the gifts mental health challenges can bring and help society to understand mental health and become better informed.
Combating Illiteracy – sales of the book help fund the Read and Grow Society and its ambition to set up community literacy projects across the UK www.readandgrowsociety.org
Event
A celebration including wine tasting, live music, stand-up comedy and guest speakers.
Our host will be Noel Razor Smith, whose best-selling books include A Few Kind Words and a Loaded Gun: The Autobiography of a Career Criminal (Penguin, 2005). As a journalist he has contributed to the national press and works for the highly respected prison newspaper Inside Time.
