Gallery: William Garrow Blue Plaque Unveiled

The Ramsgate Society officially unveiled a Blue Plaque marking William Garrow’s former home at Pegwell Lodge, Ramsgate, Kent. Bryan Gibson and Sir William Garrow co-author John Hostettler were present at a lively event which was well attended by the media.

The house itself is of historical and architectural significance because of the way it was built in wood and then covered in brick-like tiles (and if anyone has any particular knowledge of this building process please leave a comment, because it seems like a costly and unnecessary exercise to me!).… Read more “Gallery: William Garrow Blue Plaque Unveiled”
