Alan Jackaman spent over 25 years as a police officer, including with the first Metropolitan Police dedicated Murder Investigation Team. He later joined its Murder Review Group, examining cold cases/unsolved murders. Commended for his work in bringing serial killer Robert Napper to justice, his work was turned into the Channel 4/Netflix four-part drama Deceit. Alan is hte author of several books and was a guest speaker at Crimecon UK in April 2026.
