Growing Out of Crime
The New Era

Growing Out Of Crime is a classic work about juvenile offenders that remains influential within a modern-day criminal justice climate.

The arguments which this book contains about managing offending behaviour and recognising that it is often part of a youngster's maturation into adulthood have taken on a new resonance with the advent of the Youth Justice Board, youth justice teams (YOTs), youth offending panels (YOPs) and moves in the direction of restorative justice.

It is an essential work for every practitioner's library and has long been recommended reading on degree and other courses.

With a new Preface.
